Mario Williams

Elite Catching Instructor

Mario Williams has garnered state and national honors during his baseball career, including being drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2005. At Hillsborough High School, Williams earned All-Western Conference honors for three years running. During his senior year at Hillsborough, he received All-State honorable mention and was one of three high school players to play in the Northwoods Collegiate Baseball League. While a freshman at Lake City Community College, he played second team in the all Mid-Florida Conference. As a sophomore, Williams was all conference and played in the Junior College all-star game. In 2008, Williams played with the number one ranked summer collegiate team in the country. Coach WIlliams has spent the last 10+ years sharing his knowledge with others and giving lessons to young athletes. He now spends his weekends umpiring for some of the top sanctions in the country and continuing to grow his knowledge of the game!
